Warranty Policy :

Warranty period is 4 years from the month of import, as mentioned on the MRP tag.
If the MRP tag is not available, the month of manufacturing on the inner label of the product will be considered to calculate the 4 years period.
Where the manufacturing month and year are unavailable, missing, or illegible on the product's inner label, the warranty shall be reduced for a period of six (6) months from the date of the original customer purchase invoice. Click to know more

Communication

Return

Product purchased through our on website in India will must be returned either to our central warehouse or the nearest authorized store. Upon receipt, the product will undergo a quality inspection by our designed quality team to determine eligibility for a warranty coverage in accordance with this warranty policy and would be subject to quality check by our designated team.

Shipping

For a valid warranty claim, the product will be picked up from the billing address free of cost. Alternatively, the customer may self-deliver the product to the nearest authorized store for warranty assessment.

The standard turnaround time for processing a warranty claim is 2–3 weeks from the date the product is picked up from billing address or handed over to authorized stores.

Actions taken

  • Upon receipt of the product at our Centralized Warehouse, our Quality Team will inspect the product to determine whether the reported defect qualifies as a manufacturing defect under this Warranty Policy.
  • •Our Customer Care Team will communicate the outcome of the inspection to you, irrespective of whether the warranty claim is approved or rejected.
  • If your warranty claim is approved, our Customer Care Team will issue an Exchange or a Gift Voucher equivalent to the eligible value of the product. which can be redeemed at all our authorized offline stores and on our official online stores.

Jurisdiction

In the event of any dispute relating to a warranty claim or its resolution, the decision of Chogori India Retail Limited (CIRL) shall be final and binding, subject to applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Warranty Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Delhi.All disputes will be subject to Delhi jurisdiction.

Warranty Exclusions

  • The warranty is intended to cover manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship only. It does not cover the following:
  • Damage resulting from accidents, improper use, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper care, or failure to follow the product's care instructions.
  • Normal wear and tear arising from regular use, including but not limited to scuffs, abrasions, dents, creases, discoloration, fading, stains, or deterioration of materials over time.
  • Damage resulting from improper storage, transportation, or handling of the product.
  • Products that have been altered, modified, customized, or repaired by any person or service provider not authorized by CIRL.
  • Cosmetic variations or minor irregularities that do not affect the functionality or performance of the product.
  • Damage caused by commercial, rental, or any use other than the product's intended purpose.
  • Loss of accessories, detachable components, packaging, or any complimentary items supplied with the product.
  • Incidental or consequential losses or damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, travel expenses or damage to personal belongings contained in or used with the product.
  • Products for which the original purchase invoice cannot be produced at the time of the warranty claim.
  • Products purchased outside India or from sellers, distributors, or retailers not authorized by CIRL
  • This Warranty Policy is applicable only to products sold by CIRL within India and is valid only for the original purchaser.
  • Monetary refunds do not form a part of this Policy.
    •Warranty period will be considered from the original product’s purchase.

Limitation of Liability. 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the maximum liability of Chogori India Retail Limited (CIRL) under this Warranty Policy shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product. CIRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, damage to person/personal property arising from the use of or inability to use the product.CIRL shall not be responsible for any delay or failure in fulfilling its warranty obligations where such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government actions, war, civil disturbances, strikes, pandemics, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events. Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Return your product through our courier pickup service or by visiting any Columbia Exclusive Store in India Pickup arranged by Columbia is complimentary. If you choose to return the product at a store, you will be required to visit the store at your own convenience.

Products must be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date of purchase/ date of delivery.

Condition of Product

  • Product must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged.
  • Product must be returned with all original tags, labels, packaging and accessories intact.
  • Product must be free from stains, odours, alterations or signs of wear.
  • Your product must be in original condition and in brand tags/packaging.

Documents

The customer must retain and present the original purchase invoice to avail the benefit of Refund /Exchange of the Product.Refund / Exchange shall be made equivalent to the amount of original invoice. In case of any purchases made above the same, customer need to pay the differential amount.

Refund/ Exchange of product

Once the returned product successfully passes our quality inspection, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase within 3-5 working days.Size or style exchanges can be requested directly through the My Orders section, subject to stock availability.

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 3-5 working days in accordance with the
original mode of payment. Exchanges are / permitted for size or style, subject to product availability.

Exclusions

Return/Exchange policy does not apply to base layers & Undergarments due to hygiene concerns.

Additional Points

  • Orders can be cancelled only before they are shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. However, eligible products may be returned after delivery in accordance with this policy.
  • Products purchased outside India are not eligible for Returns or Exchanges through Columbia India. Please contact the retailer or distributor from whom the product was originally purchased.
  • Every eligible product is shipped with an original Chogori Tag Loop—a tamper-evident security tag carrying a unique identification number. Returns will only be accepted if the Tag Loop remains attached and intact. Products with a removed, damaged or tampered Tag Loop will not be eligible for Return or Exchange.
  • Columbia reserves the right to refuse any Return or Exchange if the product does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or fails the quality inspection.
